In addition to expertise in all areas of general surgery, Dr. Smith has extensive experience and training in endocrine and laparoscopic surgery. Endocrine procedures performed include; Thyroid, Parathyroid (including minimally invasive), adrenal (including laparoscopic) and endocrine pancreas operations. Laparoscopic procedures performed include; gallbladder, appendix, colon, small intestine, spleen and hernia operations.
Dr. Smith is an active member of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endocrine Surgeons.
In his free time Dr. Smith enjoys running, biking, travel, Jaguar football and spending time with family and friends.
